The program also comes with a surprising number of bonus tools. Even the files it deletes will by default be backed up, for instance, so they're easy to restore if it accidentally wipes something important. Still, there are tweaks you can apply to improve the situation, and RegCleaner is at least notable for the care it takes in keeping you safe. The results aren't quite as impressive, though, and we found the program consistently detected less issues than competing products. Choose the areas to be scanned, if you like, then let the program detect unnecessary keys and delete them with a single click. It's much the same story with the Registry cleaner.
